ESAN ‘s Member (EUROPEAN SOCIAL ACTION NETWORK)

The members of our association met on January 13, 2021.

We ask that European regulations be drawn up to protect children sleeping in the streets. We rely on the following facts, presented by UNICEF France on September 16, 2020: More than 1000 children, whose families had called 115 (toll-free number for France to obtain accommodation) found themselves in the street at night , lack of accommodation. This situation is also observed outside the Paris conurbation.

This situation is unacceptable, even if the figures have dropped slightly in a year.

Would it not be possible to resume Finnish policy: in 2030, no more homeless

But as of this year, no minor, including children under 5 as a priority, will sleep in the street and will not be separated from their parents.
